Fed’s move will prove ineffective

Yesterday’s rate cut by the Federal Reserve Bank sent markets worldwide soaring. The Dow shot up over 300 points, while markets in Asia, Europe, and Latin America all rose in hopes that the lowering in rates will put an end to the credit crisis. (more…)

Japan’s numbers indicate global recession

Japan’s first decline in GDP in several years is a very real report indicating the world may already be in a recession. With the USA’s first negative jobs numbers that were reported last week, investors are starting to get the idea that the global economy is not in as good as position as many bulls would like to believe.
